ICC does Dam Tunnels!
Well actually, we do control systems for dams AND tunnels. ICC has been a key participant in the construction and operation of the following public works projects;
The Lindbergh Tunnel - Ground Water Detection, Carbon Monoxide Detection, Tunnel Lighting Control, Control of Jet Fans for Emergency Ventilation, Local and Remote HMI integration with control systems located at both the tunnel site and the West County MODOT Center, and interface to emergency power generation and radio communications systems.
The Big Bend and Skinker Metro Link Tunnels - Control of the Jet Fan Emergency Ventilation Systems.
Melvin Price Locks and Dam 26 - Accommodating approximately 70 million tons of commercial traffic annually, these locks and dam are the largest of its kind on the Mississippi River. ICC was selected by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to provide and program the automated operational control system for the Locks. Featuring redundantly networked, fault tolerant graphical user interfaces, operators utilize this system to manage traffic through the locks.
